Spring Brook Resort is looking to hire Part Time AM Pool Maintenance Technician. The Pool Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing daily preventative pool and maintenance duties as well as emergency maintenance when needed.

This role is Part -Time/Year-Round and requires seasonal flexibility when it comes to length of shifts: 1- 3 hours in the off season, 4- 6 hours during the peak summer months and holiday periods. Shifts available 7 days a week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of guests providing a safe and fun environment at all pool locations by maintaining water quality and cleanliness.
• Clearing pool decks of used towels, trash, vacuuming pool, and water quality readings
• Power washing, cleaning, getting pools assembled to open
• Verifying the equipment in the pump room is functioning correctly, ability to work in a loud environment
• Partner with Maintenance Team regarding pump maintenance
• Repairing of equipment and materials
• Power washing, cleaning, getting pools assembled to open
• Meeting and greeting pool guests
• Work directly with Maintenance Manager

Pool Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to perform mathematical calculations as needed
• Must be able to understand and measure pool water quality requirements, work with chemicals to assist with upkeep of pool water and cleanliness
• Must be able to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining quality
• Being able to complete tasks without supervision
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Must be 18 years old or older to apply
• Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Previous experience in a Recreation or Resort environment preferred but not required
• Previous pool chemist or pool technician experience, CPO Certified Pool Operator preferred but not required
